Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance C++/Java applications for equity options pricing and risk management
- Develop microservices architecture supporting real-time options trading platforms
- Optimize algorithms for greeks calculation and volatility modeling using Python/R
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FIX protocol connectivity for options exchanges
- Implement robust testing frameworks for options pricing models and trading workflows
- Lead technical reviews and mentor junior engineers on derivatives software best practices
- Document complex options trading systems for regulatory compliance and knowledge transfer
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field (MS preferred)
- 5+ years experience in low-latency financial software development
- Expertise in options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial, Monte Carlo)
- Proficiency in C++, Java, and Python with multithreading experience
- Familiarity with FIX protocol and derivatives market data feeds
- Strong understanding of equity options Greeks (Delta, Gamma, Vega, Theta)
- Experience with SQL databases and time-series data processing
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (SEC, FINRA) for derivatives trading
