Responsibilities
- Design and develop low-latency trading systems for equity options pricing and execution
- Implement complex mathematical models for volatility surfaces, Greeks calculation, and risk analysis
- Optimize C++/Java code for microsecond-level performance in high-throughput environments
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to translate financial models into production-ready software
- Ensure system reliability through rigorous testing, monitoring, and incident response
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards
- Stay current with regulatory requirements (SEC, FINRA) for derivatives trading systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering for financial derivatives or high-frequency trading
- Expert knowledge of equity options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial, Monte Carlo)
- Proficiency in C++, Java, or Python with low-latency system optimization experience
- Familiarity with FIX protocol and exchange connectivity (NYSE, NASDAQ, CBOE)
- Strong background in multithreading, network programming, and distributed systems
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or quantitative field from top-tier institution
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP)
