Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance trading systems for equity options pricing and risk management
- Implement low-latency algorithms for options market data processing and execution
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to model complex derivatives strategies
- Ensure regulatory compliance across all trading platforms (SEC, FINRA)
- Optimize system architecture for scalability and fault tolerance in high-volume environments
- Mentor junior engineers on financial software best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in C++ or Java development for financial systems
- Expertise in options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial Trees)
- Proficiency with Linux, low-level programming, and network protocols
- Familiarity with FIX protocol and market data feeds (ITCH, OUCH)
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization
- Strong problem-solving skills for high-pressure trading environments
