Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather large datasets from various sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity before analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis and modeling to interpret complex data trends and patterns.
- Report Generation: Create comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations (using Tableau, Power BI, or Looker) to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve business problems by providing data-driven recommendations.
- Database Management: Maintain and optimize our data warehouses and SQL databases to ensure efficient data retrieval.
- Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates on project progress and business health.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for database querying and Python or R for data manipulation.
- Visualization: Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
- Excel: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to translate complex data into clear business insights.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and the ability to spot anomalies in data.
