Responsibilities
- Data Strategy & Architecture: Design and maintain scalable data models and ETL pipelines to support high-volume data processing, with a focus on optimizing weekend batch processing.
- Advanced Analytics: Conduct deep-dive statistical analysis and predictive modeling to identify market trends and operational inefficiencies for executive leadership.
- Visualization: Create intuitive, interactive dashboards using Tableau and PowerBI that provide 360-degree views of business performance metrics.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineers to translate complex data requirements into technical specifications.
- Quality Assurance: Establish data governance protocols to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance across all datasets.
- Reporting: Generate weekly and monthly performance reports that drive strategic pivots and resource allocation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or data engineering.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in SQL (Advanced querying, window functions) and Python (Pandas, NumPy). Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus.
- Visualization: Expert-level experience with Tableau or PowerBI.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, concise manner.
- Work Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends or flexible hours as required to meet critical project deadlines and shift rotations.
