About the Role: You'll work with stakeholders across policy, finance, and technology domains to identify data needs, design analytical frameworks, and deliver actionable recommendations. This hybrid position offers flexibility while maintaining in-person collaboration twice weekly at our K Street headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced data models using SQL, Python, and R to support predictive analytics
- Create interactive Tableau dashboards for executive stakeholders across federal agencies
- Lead A/B testing initiatives for policy optimization and program effectiveness
- Conduct statistical analysis on large datasets (10M+ records) to identify trends and anomalies
- Present findings to C-level executives through compelling data visualizations and narratives
- Maintain data governance frameworks ensuring compliance with federal regulations
- Mentor junior analysts and drive continuous improvement of analytics workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive data analysis experience with federal or government contracting
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn), and data visualization tools
- Advanced knowledge of statistical methods and experimental design
- Certification in Tableau or Power BI (AWS/GCP certifications a plus)
- Proven experience handling sensitive government data with strict compliance requirements
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex analyses for non-technical audiences
