The Role:
We are looking for a self-starter who possesses deep technical skills and exceptional communication abilities. You will own our data pipelines, build executive dashboards, and uncover hidden trends that give our clients a competitive edge.
Responsibilities
- Data Architecture & Modeling: Design and optimize complex SQL queries and ETL pipelines to ensure data integrity and accessibility across the enterprise.
- Visualization & Reporting: Develop interactive, high-impact dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to visualize KPIs and track real-time business performance.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analysis on historical data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for growth.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineering teams to define data requirements and translate business questions into technical solutions.
- Process Improvement: Automate manual reporting processes to increase efficiency and reduce data discrepancies.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for data models, methodologies, and analytical processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Technical Stack: Expert proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and Python (Pandas/NumPy) for data manipulation.
- Visualization: Strong portfolio demonstrating experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills; able to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Texas.
