Job Description:
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our data strategy. You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to help drive business decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends, solve business problems, and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries and data models to support business intelligence needs.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover hidden patterns and trends in large datasets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Document data pipelines, processes, and methodologies to ensure data governance and accuracy.
- Present data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management and executive teams.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in data analytics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server) is mandatory.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
