Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Analysis: Gather, clean, and analyze complex datasets from various sources to uncover trends and opportunities.
- Visualization: Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Reporting: Create comprehensive monthly and quarterly reports that drive strategic decision-making across departments.
- SQL Proficiency: Write optimized SQL queries to retrieve data and perform complex data manipulation tasks.
- Statistical Modeling: Develop statistical models to predict market trends and assess the impact of business initiatives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and engineers to define data requirements and improve data infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python or R.
- Tools: Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Relocation: Candidates must be willing to relocate to the Seattle, WA area.
