The Role:
As a Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic decision-making by providing deep data insights and visualizations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends, optimize processes, and forecast business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Extract, clean, and transform large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that drive business growth.
- Dashboard Creation: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports summarizing findings and recommendations to leadership.
- SQL & Database Management: Write optimized SQL queries to retrieve data and collaborate with IT on database improvements.
- Forecasting: Build predictive models to forecast market trends and assist in budget planning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or SAS. Strong experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Relocation: Willingness to relocate to North Carolina upon offer acceptance.
