Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various internal and external sources to ensure accuracy and reliability for analysis.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform deep-dive statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the data to support strategic decision-making.
- Report Generation: Automate weekly and monthly reporting processes to save time and reduce manual errors.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations) to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Data Governance: Establish and enforce data quality standards and documentation protocols across the department.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (strong querying skills required), Python or R, and experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings for non-technical audiences.
- Organization: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote environment.
- Tools: Experience with ETL tools and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, AWS Redshift, or Google BigQuery) is a plus.
