Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Processing: Gather, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies within the data.
- Visualization & Reporting: Create compelling dashboards and visual reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to present findings to stakeholders clearly.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, operations) to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Forecasting: Develop predictive models to forecast future trends and support strategic business planning.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of data pipelines, analysis methodologies, and reporting standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (strong query writing skills), Python or R for data manipulation.
- Tools: Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into business language.
- Location: Must be located in the US and willing to work in a remote capacity (El Paso, TX or Illinois preferred).
