Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Analysis: Gather, clean, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, correlations, and business opportunities using SQL, Python, and Excel.
- Visualization: Design and develop interactive dashboards (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker) to provide real-time insights to stakeholders and leadership.
- Strategic Reporting: Produce accurate, timely, and comprehensive reports that support decision-making processes across sales, marketing, and operations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in data workflows and propose automated solutions to improve data quality and reporting speed.
- Equity Support: Work closely with the finance team to analyze employee stock option pools and vesting data.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
- Visualization: Strong experience with BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Location: Must be authorized to work in the United States and available to work remotely from Los Angeles, CA.
