We are looking for a highly analytical Senior Data Analyst to join our growing team in the Washington D.C. area. This is a remote-first position that offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, with the added benefit of Relocation Assistance for candidates based in Virginia or Washington D.C.
As a Data Analyst at Apex Data Solutions, you will be responsible for transforming complex data sets into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends, optimize processes, and build robust reporting systems.

Responsibilities
- Data Management: Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis and modeling to identify patterns, trends, and correlations within the data.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to present findings to stakeholders.
- Reporting: Generate regular performance reports and executive summaries that inform business strategy and operational improvements.
- SQL Querying: Write complex SQL queries to extract data and support ad-hoc analysis requests.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and engineering teams to define data requirements and implement data solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in Data Analysis or Business Intelligence roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and programming languages such as Python or R.
- Tools: Strong working knowledge of BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI) and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Location: Must be willing to relocate to Washington D.C. or Northern Virginia area.
