Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and transform large, complex datasets to ensure high data quality and integrity for reporting purposes.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Write complex SQL queries to extract data from various databases and perform ad-hoc analysis as requested by stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track business metrics.
- Present findings and actionable insights to executive leadership through clear, compelling presentations and written reports.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to support strategic decision-making and forecasting.
- Automate reporting processes to increase efficiency and reduce manual errors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Snowflake) and Python or R for data manipulation.
- Strong experience creating data visualizations using Tableau, PowerBI, or similar platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing multiple priorities.
