This is a fully remote position, perfect for top talent based in Baltimore, MD, or the broader Ohio region. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform raw data into clear, strategic narratives.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analysis of complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and risks for our clients.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and maintain interactive, high-level dashboards using Tableau and PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- SQL & Data Modeling: Write complex SQL queries to extract, clean, and manipulate large datasets from various sources.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership in a clear, compelling, and non-technical manner.
- Process Improvement: Identify gaps in current data processes and recommend automation or optimization strategies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and advanced Excel.
- Visualization: Strong experience with BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into business value.
