Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & Modeling: Design, build, and maintain complex SQL databases and extract, clean, and transform large datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Visualizations: Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate complex data trends to stakeholders.
- Reporting: Develop regular performance reports and ad-hoc analyses that drive key business metrics and inform executive decision-making.
- Statistical Analysis: Apply advanced statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineering teams to define data requirements and solve business problems using data.
- Automation: Automate repetitive data processes and reporting workflows to increase efficiency and reduce manual errors.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience in data analysis or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with Python or R for data manipulation.
- Tools: Strong command of BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker) and spreadsheet software (Excel, Google Sheets).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into actionable business insights.
- Soft Skills: Critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
