Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various internal and external sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data.
- Visualization: Create intuitive dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI to communicate key metrics to stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Database Management: Write complex SQL queries to extract data from relational databases and SQL Server environments.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in data workflows and propose automated solutions to improve business processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of proven experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Relocation: Willingness and ability to relocate to Baltimore, MD (Relocation assistance provided).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
