Role Overview
The Data Analyst will be responsible for interpreting complex data sets, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights that drive business strategy. You will work closely with stakeholders to transform raw data into meaningful visualizations and reports.
Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Collect, process, and perform statistical analysis on large, complex data sets to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Visualization: Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strategic Analysis: Perform deep-dive analysis to identify market trends, customer behaviors, and operational inefficiencies.
- Forecasting: Build predictive models to assist leadership in long-term planning and resource allocation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure success.
- Documentation: Create detailed documentation of data pipelines, methodologies, and analytical findings.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Python or R, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to deconstruct complex problems and derive logical conclusions from data.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to diverse audiences.
- Relocation: Willingness to relocate to Columbus, Ohio.
