Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Analysis: Gather, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources to identify patterns, trends, and correlations that drive business growth.
- Reporting & Visualization: Develop interactive dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI to provide real-time insights to stakeholders and executive leadership.
- SQL Management: Write complex SQL queries to extract data, manipulate tables, and ensure data integrity across our database systems.
- Forecasting: Utilize statistical modeling and forecasting techniques to predict market trends and business performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to understand their data needs and deliver tailored analytics solutions.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current data workflows and recommend automation strategies to improve productivity.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python or R. Strong working knowledge of ETL processes.
- Tools: Expert level in data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Location: Willingness to relocate to New York, NY or Arlington, VA, or work in a hybrid model.
