Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure high data quality and accuracy.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that drive business strategy.
- Visualization & Reporting: Design and develop interactive dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and executive summaries to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- SQL & Database Management: Write optimized SQL queries and scripts to retrieve data and manage database structures effectively.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, and executives to translate data findings into clear, actionable business recommendations.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in data workflows and propose solutions to streamline reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 4+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages; experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relocation: Willingness to relocate to Austin, TX (Relocation assistance provided).
