Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Modeling: Extract, clean, and analyze massive datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights using SQL, Python, and R.
- Visualization: Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau and Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders effectively.
- Strategic Reporting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Finance) to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress against business goals.
- A/B Testing: Design and execute rigorous A/B testing frameworks to optimize user acquisition, retention, and conversion rates.
- Data Governance: Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
- Storytelling: Translate complex data findings into compelling narratives that drive decision-making and strategy.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 3-5+ years of proven experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist in a fast-paced tech environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (Advanced queries, joins, stored procedures) and experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Programming: Strong coding skills in Python or R for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
