Apex Data Systems is currently seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City. As a Data Analyst on our Night Shift team, you will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights, ensuring our clients receive accurate reporting and forecasting. You will work autonomously and collaboratively to solve complex business problems using advanced analytical tools.
Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and validate large datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity for reporting purposes.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker) to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and track business trends.
- Write complex SQL queries and scripts to support ad-hoc reporting and automated data pipelines.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define data requirements and improve system architecture.
- Conduct statistical analysis and A/B testing to validate hypotheses and optimize business processes.
- Generate comprehensive weekly and monthly analytical reports for executive leadership.
- Identify data anomalies and propose solutions to improve data quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with scripting languages (Python or R).
- Proven experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Must be available and willing to work Night Shift hours (e.g., 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM or 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business questions into technical data analysis.
- Relocation assistance available for candidates residing outside of the Oklahoma City metro area.
