Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Modeling: Extract, clean, and analyze large, complex data sets to identify patterns, trends, and correlations.
- Visualization: Design and develop compelling dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to communicate insights to stakeholders effectively.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling to support business strategy and forecasting.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to understand their data needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational efficiency and recommend process improvements based on data evidence.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of data pipelines, methodologies, and analytical models.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (strong query writing skills), Python or R, and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Tools: Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Macros).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights for non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
