Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Visualization: Create interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- SQL Proficiency: Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract data from various databases and ensure data integrity.
- Statistical Modeling: Apply statistical methods to test hypotheses and predict future trends based on historical data.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify operational inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of data sources, methodologies, and reporting standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and programming languages such as Python or R.
- Tools: Expert knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker).
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
