In this role, you will be responsible for translating complex datasets into clear, actionable business insights. You will work closely with leadership to drive strategic decisions and optimize operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Analysis: Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL and Python to uncover trends and patterns.
- Visualization: Design and develop interactive dashboards in Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Reporting: Create comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for stakeholders to support business planning.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to understand data needs and provide technical solutions.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and improve data quality standards.
- Forecasting: Develop statistical models to predict future trends and assist in budgeting and forecasting efforts.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (complex queries, stored procedures) and experience with Python or R.
- Tools: Expert knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical audiences.
- Relocation: Willingness to relocate to Ohio and ability to start immediately.
