Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Processing: Extract, cleanse, and transform large datasets from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency for analysis.
- Advanced Analytics: Develop complex data models and statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business growth.
- Visualization: Create compelling dashboards and visual reports using Tableau and Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders effectively.
- SQL Proficiency: Write and optimize complex SQL queries to retrieve data from relational databases and data warehouses.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineers to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress against business goals.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current data workflows and implement automated solutions to streamline reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or R. Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend) is a plus.
- Tools: Expert knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business value.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot data issues and derive actionable insights from ambiguous data sets.
