Responsibilities
- Perform complex data analysis: Utilize SQL and Python to mine large datasets, clean data, and uncover hidden trends to support business objectives.
- Visualize insights: Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to communicate complex findings to stakeholders effectively.
- Ensure data integrity: Develop and implement data governance policies, ETL processes, and quality assurance checks to ensure high data accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and sales teams to define data requirements and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Forecasting and modeling: Build predictive models and statistical analyses to assist in strategic decision-making and long-term business planning.
- Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation and data dictionaries for all analytical processes and reports.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in data analysis, data science, business intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences clearly.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with a proven track record of solving complex business problems through data-driven methodologies.
- Tools: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.
