Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and transform large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for reporting.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and PowerBI to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Write optimized SQL queries and Python scripts to automate data pipelines and reduce manual workload.
- Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
- Maintain data documentation and ensure compliance with data governance policies.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with Python or R.
- Expert-level knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience working in the government, non-profit, or tech sector is a plus.
