Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analyses and modeling to identify patterns, correlations, and trends that influence business decisions.
- Dashboard Creation: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Reporting: Create comprehensive reports and executive summaries that translate complex data findings into clear, actionable business insights.
- Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in current data workflows and propose automation solutions to improve productivity.
- Collaboration: Partner with product and engineering teams to define data requirements and support the development of data-driven features.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying; experience with Python or R for data manipulation.
- Visualization Tools: Hands-on experience with Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Analytical Mindset: Exceptional ability to interpret data and explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on presenting findings effectively.
