Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth analysis of equity options data to identify market trends and trading opportunities.
- Build and maintain complex SQL queries and Python scripts to automate data extraction and reporting.
- Create interactive dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI to visualize market performance and risk metrics.
- Collaborate with the trading desk to provide actionable insights and support decision-making processes.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all financial reporting systems.
- Conduct A/B testing on new trading strategies and evaluate their effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science.
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst in the financial services or trading sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and Excel.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
- Deep understanding of equity options, derivatives, and market mechanics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
