Responsibilities
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) large datasets from various sources to ensure data integrity and accuracy for reporting purposes.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and database models to support ad-hoc reporting and deep-dive analysis.
- Create compelling data visualizations and interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to communicate key metrics to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering, to identify business requirements and define data-driven solutions.
- Perform statistical analysis and trend forecasting to identify opportunities for process improvement and revenue growth.
- Document data pipelines, analytical methodologies, and business requirements to ensure knowledge transfer and system scalability.
- Conduct regular data audits to identify anomalies, outliers, and potential security risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redshift) with the ability to write complex queries and optimize performance.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools, specifically Tableau and/or Power BI.
- Proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes is highly preferred.
