Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Analysis: Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and correlations that influence business decisions.
- Dashboarding: Design and develop interactive dashboards using Tableau or Looker to visualize complex data for stakeholders.
- Reporting: Create comprehensive monthly and quarterly reports that summarize key performance indicators (KPIs) and growth metrics.
- SQL Development: Write optimized SQL queries to support ad-hoc reporting and automate data extraction processes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineers to define data requirements and validate analytical findings.
- Process Improvement: Identify gaps in current data processes and recommend solutions to improve data quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and programming languages such as Python or R.
- Tools: Strong working knowledge of BI tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate technical jargon into business value.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
