You'll collaborate with marine biologists, policy advisors, and tech teams to deliver actionable intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex oceanographic and environmental datasets using SQL, Python, and R
- Design interactive dashboards in Tableau to track conservation metrics
- Identify trends in marine pollution patterns and wildlife migration data
- Present findings to stakeholders through compelling visual storytelling
- Develop predictive models for coastal erosion and climate impact scenarios
- Automate reporting pipelines to ensure real-time data accessibility
- Mentor junior analysts on best practices in data governance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Environmental Science, or related field
- 5+ years of professional data analysis experience
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical modeling
- Advanced Tableau/Power BI certification with portfolio examples
- Experience with geospatial data analysis (GIS or QGIS)
- Strong background in time-series analysis and forecasting
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical insights
- Familiarity with oceanographic or environmental data preferred
