Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Modeling: Extract, clean, and analyze large, complex datasets to identify patterns and trends using SQL, Python, and R.
- Visualization & Reporting: Design and develop intuitive dashboards (Tableau, Power BI) to present data insights to executive leadership and product teams.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct rigorous statistical analysis to support A/B testing, customer segmentation, and market research initiatives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineering teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics.
- Process Improvement: Identify gaps in data collection processes and recommend solutions to enhance data quality and reliability.
- SQL Optimization: Write efficient, optimized SQL queries to support ad-hoc reporting and automated data pipelines.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy) or R.
- Tools: Strong command of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings for non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex data issues and derive actionable conclusions.
