Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines using SQL, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Create compelling visualizations and dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Conduct advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling to identify trends and opportunities
- Translate complex findings into actionable recommendations for policy and operational improvements
- Collaborate with product teams to define KPIs and track performance metrics
- Maintain data governance standards and ensure compliance with federal regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive experience in data analysis or business intelligence
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and statistical modeling
- Strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker)
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical insights for non-technical audiences
- Experience working with government/public sector data highly desirable
- Proven track record of delivering high-impact analytics projects
