Responsibilities
- Monitor and protect equity options trading platforms against cyber threats in real-time during weekend market hours
- Implement advanced security controls for options pricing engines and order management systems
- Conduct forensic analysis of security incidents involving financial data or trading algorithms
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to secure options pricing models and trading strategies
- Develop playbooks for responding to market manipulation and insider trading threats
- Lead security assessments for new options trading features and regulatory compliance frameworks
- Maintain SIEM correlation rules specific to options market data anomalies
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in financial services or fintech
- Certification in CISSP, CISM, or equivalent financial security credentials
- Deep understanding of equity options trading workflows and market microstructure
- Expertise in threat modeling for high-frequency trading systems
- Proficiency with security tools: Splunk, CrowdStrike, Tenable, and Palo Alto Networks
- Experience with regulatory frameworks: SEC Rule 15c3-5, FINRA 22-2, and GDPR Article 32
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
