Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and monitor advanced security measures including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud/on-premise environments
- Lead incident response protocols for security breaches, ensuring rapid containment and recovery
- Develop comprehensive security documentation and compliance reports (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Mentor junior team members while staying current with evolving threat landscapes
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in hands-on incident response or security architecture
- CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security tools and cloud security frameworks
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and endpoint protection solutions
- Demonstrated experience with threat intelligence and malware analysis
- Strong communication skills for technical/non-technical stakeholder collaboration
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
