Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade security architectures and firewalls.
- Monitor network traffic and security systems to detect and respond to anomalies.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches and cyberattacks.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as SOC2, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
- Develop and automate security protocols using Python and Bash scripting.
- Train and mentor junior security analysts on best practices and threat landscape.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or network administration.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly required.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions.
- Proven experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
