We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our elite team. In this role, you will oversee the security posture of our organization, ensuring that our defenses are robust, scalable, and proactive. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate security into every layer of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and red teaming exercises.
- Implement and maintain network security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
- Collaborate with DevOps and developers to implement DevSecOps best practices and secure CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform forensic analysis on security breaches and lead incident response and recovery efforts.
- Stay current with emerging threats and vulnerabilities to recommend proactive mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or network security engineering.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, networking protocols, and security architectures.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote work setting.
