Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain a robust cybersecurity framework aligned with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in real-time to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Manage and optimize SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools for threat detection.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure integration of new technologies and applications.
- Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Network Security, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Experience with incident response and forensics is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
