Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events and incidents across the enterprise network.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust security infrastructure and protocols.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weak points.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Manage and maintain SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) for real-time threat detection.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with incident response methodologies and forensics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a high-pressure, urgent environment.
- Citizenship required for security clearance.
