Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage advanced cybersecurity solutions to protect organizational assets.
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and alerts in real-time using SIEM tools like Splunk and QRadar.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to ensure compliance (SOC 2, HIPAA).
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and disaster recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Stay abreast of the latest threat landscapes and emerging cybersecurity technologies to proactively defend the network.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information assurance.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CISM are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python or Bash) for automation and threat hunting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
