Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures to protect against cyber threats.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents with minimal downtime and maximum efficacy.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as SOC2, HIPAA, and NIST.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security best practices into software development lifecycles.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training for employees.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel), Firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet), and IDS/IPS.
- Experience with incident response and forensics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain and maintain relevant government security clearances.
