Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security architectures for cloud and on-premise environments
- Lead incident response and threat hunting operations
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security automation tools and scripts
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security in SDLC
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 standards
- Mentor junior security engineers and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ in engineering roles
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network security
- Certified CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent
- Strong experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or security automation frameworks
- Knowledge of threat intelligence platforms and MITRE ATT&CK
- Experience with container security (Kubernetes, Docker)
