Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced security architectures, with a focus on Zero Trust models and network segmentation.
- Lead 24/7 security monitoring operations, analyzing SIEM logs and threat intelligence feeds to detect anomalies.
- Conduct forensic investigations and coordinate incident response activities during security breaches.
- Oversee vulnerability management programs, including penetration testing and risk assessments.
- Develop and enforce enterprise security policies ensuring compliance with SOC 2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001 standards.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior security analysts and engineers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, GCIH, or Security+ required; CISM or CISA a plus.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in information security, incident response, or network defense.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and web application security.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for automation and tool development.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for security audits or conferences.
