Responsibilities
- Design and implement security frameworks for cloud/on-premise environments
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response protocols and lead security breach mitigation
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor SIEM platforms and analyze security telemetry data
- Create security documentation and compliance reports
- Mentor junior engineers on security best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with 2+ in remote roles
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security tools and network protocols
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash) and automation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
