Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and monitor advanced security measures across cloud/on-prem infrastructure
- Lead incident response protocols for security breaches and cyber threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security automation scripts and threat detection systems
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 standards
- Mentor junior security engineers and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with focus on threat detection/analysis
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network protocols
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Experience with security automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform)
- Proven ability to develop security policies and procedures
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for technical/non-technical audiences
