Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex cybersecurity frameworks and Zero Trust architectures to protect corporate assets.
- Monitor security alerts and threat intelligence feeds to detect and respond to intrusions in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses before malicious actors do.
- Lead Incident Response (IR) efforts, coordinating with internal teams and external law enforcement when necessary.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (e.g., SOC2, HIPAA, NIST) across all organizational systems.
- Collaborate with software development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Manage and oversee the configuration of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or CSSLP are highly required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or information security analysis.
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows systems administration and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Experience with Cloud Security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proven track record of successfully managing incident response and crisis management scenarios.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
