Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events and incidents in real-time to mitigate potential threats.
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced security architectures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM systems.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2) across the organization.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Lead incident response investigations and provide post-incident analysis and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common network protocols.
- Proficiency with security tools such as Splunk, Wireshark, or similar SIEM solutions.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container security.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
